There are a number of methods for connecting with Macintosh
and Linux machines depending on the operating system version
and the connection software used. Regardless of the software
used, the information that will be required is the same. Here
are the settings that will be required:
IP Address: "Server Assigned" or "None"
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway IP Address: 0.0.0.0 or "use default gateway"
Primary DNS: 209.210.176.9
Secondary DNS:
209.210.176.8
Note that Mac OS 10 and above can now assign DNS addresses
automatically, so specifying the primary & secondary DNS
addresses is no longer necessary for newer OS versions.
